Kev F Sutherland

Kev F Sutherland is a writer and performer who works regularly as a stand up, comic strip artist, TV presenter, caricaturist, and the voice and hands behind the legendary Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre.

His TV and stage show The Sitcom Trials has been running since 1999 and has enjoyed its first TV series on ITV1, while his sitcoms have been made by BBC radio. As a stand up Kev has been seen nationally and internationally, most recently appearing as part of BBC 1's Comic Relief effort with his attempt to beat the world joke-telling record. (Not, admittedly, a successful attempt, but it raised a lot of money for the charity!)

Kev F's TV series have included The A-Z of Rude Health (ITV1) and Comedy Shuffle (BBC3), and he appears as an expert on comic strips on such shows as Battle Of The Books (BBC4) and Radio 4's front Row.

Kev works as a stand up, compere, presenter and voice over artist, and is a regular guest on TV and radio, both as a comedian and as an expert in sitcom and comic books. He is also available as a corporate caricaturist - he can draw 100 people in 2 hours, ideal for parties and exhibitions - and he currently writes and draws for The Beano.

His fourth comedy history book, FAB FOOLS, is the first ever exploration of The Beatles’ comedy, and The Rutles’ history.
